Carter completed his first session of official swim lessons. It was a mommy & me class and our little guy totally enjoyed it. The classes were designed to get the kids comfortable with the water. Carter loves the water so the lessons were a piece of cake. He loved singing songs, kicking on his front, blowing bubbles and jumping in from the side. He also thought it was fun to swim around gathering the rubber ducks the teacher would throw into the pool. The two aspects of lessons Carter didn't like were floating on his back and having to get out of the pool when the lessons were over. I think he could play in there for hours! Here are a few pictures from class.......well, actually I got the dates mixed up and class was already over so really here are a few shots of us just swimming in the pool.
P.S. I am 7+ months pregnant AND I'm wearing a swimming suit in the middle of winter. Yikes!
Carter was great around the baby. He liked to point out his nose and give him lots of hugs.
Grayson is a baby who loves action and noise so this little guy was in heaven most of the weekend. Here's a pic of the little guy enjoying Thanksgiving dinner.
Carter spent most of time playing with his 3 year old cousin, Aidan.
The boys had fun playing the piano and running through the house. Aidan loved to chase Carter around and would try his hardest to get Carter to wrestle with him(which only made Carter cry). Aidan also showed Carter how to climb out of the pack n play. (Because of his escaping skills, Carter is officially into a big boy bed now).
Our daughter is going to have her hands full with the older boys for years to come!
Other vacation highlights include: a trip to the bowling alley, playing at a couple of local parks, going to see the most awesome Christmas light display imaginable and having the boys get their picture taken with Santa. Sorry, all of those pictures have not been downloaded yet.
And sometimes he even falls asleep in them.
After a very long nap, it was time to trick or treat. We stopped by Papa Big's house to see what candy he had. We also helped hand out candy to the neighborhood kids.
