Carter is 15 months old. He had his dr. checkup today and all is good. It's funny how the handout the doctor gives out describes him (and I'm sure all 15 month olds) to a T. - Mood shifts will become noticeable. The same toddler who is happy and smiling at everyone one day may be willful, stubborn and negative the very next day. Lets just say the doctor and nurse both joked that he was expressing himself like a "typical 15 month old" at his appointment. Yes, what a treat for everyone in the office!
- Toddler enjoys chasing and being chased. He especially loves mild rough-housing. Dad does a good job of fulfilling his need of rough-housing.
- Toddler likes to imitate adults by "reading" the newspaper and doing simple household chores like dusting or folding laundry. He also enjoys imitating coughing, sneezing and blowing his nose. I can hardly keep Carter away from the swiffer. I just point him in the direction of the floor that need to be cleaned and away he goes! Also today he burped, thought it was funny, and continued to fake burp several more times during his lunch. Classy.

Wow, he's really averaging out in size! You are right, he is quickly loosing the baby look. But he sure makes an adorable toddler!
No, he doesn't look like a baby anymore. He's getting to be a big boy. He is so smart--I love to watch his facial expressions because you can see his power of concentration. I didn't know the intentional belching started at 15 months! He'll be making all kinds of "man noises" soon.
