My trip to Michigan

Mom and Dad took me to Michigan this weekend. It was my first long road trip (5 hours!). I was a pretty good traveler. I spent most of the car ride sleeping and playing with Nana (Grandma Fearrin) in the backseat.

Mom and Dad went to Evan and Katie Huizenga wedding on Friday night. Congratulations to the beautiful couple! While they were at the reception I got to spend quality time with my great-aunts, great-uncles, my mom's cousins and of course Nana. So many new faces!

Saturday I spent a lot of time with my family. I loved all the aunts fussing over me. They are so sweet! They even took me to a neighborhood party/picnic. It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed listening to the DJ and chillin' outside with everyone.

4 months = new toy

For months Dad has been waiting for Carter to be old enough to play in the bouncer. Actually Kyle assembled this toy with over 2 months left in the pregnancy. To his delight the day finally came when Carter could test it out. Although he could barely touch the floor or reach the toys, he really enjoyed it. I have a feeling this toy might be a favorite over the next couple of months.

Carter hung out with his buddy, Nate Bolles, today while the moms (and James Kelker) hung out in the pool.

New Pics

What Can Carter Do?

Carter is now 3 1/2 months and he is surprising us with new things almost every day! Here are just a couple examples of his new activities.

• He loves to blow bubbles (which results in a lot of drool) - Sorry no pic.

• He is talking more and more (i.e. cooing and babbling, no real words of course). Carter is a little camera shy so as soon as I trun the video on he doesn't talk as much as usual. This is the best I could get.....
  
  

• He can grab and hold his toys. FYI, the video is a little long. I was hoping he would do more but our cat walked in and he lost all interest in what he was doing.
